great room but slow check-in

The corner room was impressive with curved windows. It offered a peaceful atmosphere, completely blocking out any road noise.

Check-in took longer than expected.

my stay at the doubletree was fantastic! i was greeted with warm cookies and got an upgrade to two double beds, which was perfect for our trip. the atmosphere was welcoming, and the room was modern, clean, and comfy....  

Warm cookies upon arrival provide a nice touch to the experience. The hotel features easy access to public transport, including a train station right behind that connects to the airport.

The distance from the hotel to the nearest tube station is about a 20 to 25-minute walk, which isn't ideal after a long day. Some room issues, like a shower that floods after a minute, left much to be desired for a place claiming four stars. Noise from maintenance and other guests can disrupt sleep. thin walls and windows don't help. the lack of parking, despite being advertised, can be a hassle for those driving in. Some amenities, like a safe in the room that was locked upon arrival, could potentially compromise security.

Shower facilities were modern and efficient, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The staff was not only friendly but also accommodating, enabling early check-in which made our hectic schedule easier.

It was just a fine choice for a flash visit in London with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast staff were friendly, and they offered fried eggs, which was a pleasant surprise. Be aware of lift issues during your stay.

A Memorable Stay with Great Location

The staff truly stood out with their friendliness and willingness to help. I loved being so close to the Tube for easy exploration of London. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, though be prepared for a longer wait for drinks. Bring earplugs for the busy street sounds.

I had a lovely time enjoying the peaceful pool and relaxing in the cozy room during my stay. Plus, you can unwind at the on-site spa or grab a nice bite at the nearby market. Just a heads up, the breakfast options looked a bit pricey, so maybe explore other eateries around. 😊

had a really nice stay for 4 nights, breakfast was excellent with both english and continental options. very friendly staff n the location is super convenient, just a short walk to the overground station. loved the area around chelsea, nice...  

I had a pleasant stay in a King Room at the Doubletree Chelsea. The staff greeted me with warm cookies, which was a nice touch. The lobby atmosphere was welcoming, and I appreciated how attentive the staff were throughout my visit. the elevator was often out of service, which caused some inconvenience, especially with luggage. while the breakfast had nice options, the quality varied, and the cleaning at breakfast could be improved. I enjoyed my time there but think they could enhance the dining experience and maintenance efficiency.

The staff were genuinely friendly and provided great local tips, making my exploration of the area seamless.
